A crate containing a lion washes up on the island. Everyone is afraid except for Gilligan, who becomes the lion’s tamer.

Mr Howell has the idea of forming a circus, with himself as ring-master, the skipper as a juggling clown, and Ginger as a tight-rope walker, amongst other acts. Later, Gilligan places the lion on a raft, which floats out of the lagoon headed for all the way to Hawaii.

A few days later the castaways hear on the radio a U.S destroyer has picked up the lion in the middle of the Pacific Ocean.
