Gilligan finds a tribal headdress, leading everyone to believe they are sharing the island with head-hunters. The castaways start busily fashioning clubs and spears in defense.

A note written by the skipper is then found saying he has been taken captive on the other side of the island by the savages.
Gilligan is appointed as the replacement skipper but this new arrangement only lasts a short time before the real skipper appears.
He confesses he faked his own disappearance in order to discover if the island would be in safe hands without him. He adds he knew the headdress was not genuine as it had a ‘Made in Paris’ label inside it.

Then I go into THIS post (which I’ve been totally missing) and am able to sign in, like, and everything.
STILL on my laptop, mind you. Go figure!!
I remember this one, too. “Made in Paris.” Was it actually Paris? Like, they didn’t just say “France”? That’s interesting.
BTW, what made me spontaneously remember, hey, wait a minute, why haven’t I been getting notifications for Gillian from Glen? was that hubby just said a few days ago, out of the blue, “Do you know Gilligan’s first name?”
I was like, “I thought his name WAS Gilligan.”
“No.”
“Omg. No. What is it?”
“Willy.”
LOL !!! I don’t know. Did you know that? ha

Okay, so when I went to upload my comment and it makes you put your email and name in, down below that it gave various options “notify me once a week, daily,” etc., and they were all off. So now I switched on to once a week one! (She crowed in triumph, as if she had actually back-engineered an alien ship while simultaneously uncovering the mathematical equations for time travel)
